Collectively Experiencing Change...
There's no denying that we are all living a collective experience right now... our individual days & struggles may be different but we are all experiencing change. Some excel under pressure, pivot and are pushing past boundaries they never thought they would... some feel defeated, consumed and exhausted and that's totally ok. There is no right or wrong way to act or react during this season but there are elements you can control to help you whether you need to feel grounded or you feel the urge to expand.
Please remember that it's also ok to just fully unwind, not do anything and just be present and work through the motions. These ideas are just some tips and extra value to those feeling the urge.
Personally, like many I have finally found a slow I am in love with... our days are filled with family fun, gardening, cooking, laugher, exercise, organising and power focus work blocks. I've seen so many I connect with experiencing a conscious slowing also and it's inspiring.
I've curated a list of activities to undertake, streamline and organise if this is what you are feeling drawn to do.
Ideas for home & families.

Ideas for Business.

Freshen up your images - there's some great resources out there like MOYO Studio and Unsplash for beautiful images.
Update your copy - run through your website with a fine tooth comb and streamline your copy so it's clear and succinct with "calls to action"... buttons or forms that actually tell the prospective viewer what to do or where to go in order to get them to convert to a customer.
Batch your social media - Now more than ever is the time to get a clear strategy and plan to your social media. We don't know the future or when a sense of normality will begin but that doesn't mean you can't write out 30 topics/subject lines and even go as far as to draft them. I use this calendar to plan and Planoly to draft and schedule
Sort your email inbox - get organised with clear folders
End of year tax return prep
Add your business to Google my Business
Review your offerings, package up where you can and review your prices. If you need to look at pivoting or organising some packages or your pricing then send me a note to enquire about a strategy session.
SEO - Google some practical easy tips to help with SEO on your website. I have a few listed in my ebook but there's also lots of resources online.
Email list - Start a 'welcome' nurture sequence when a subscriber signs up or draft your monthly newsletters ahead. I use Flodesk which is super user friendly and gorgeous looking templates.
Other ideas: clean up your desktop folders, client forms, invoice or client software. Design and create an ebook or free resource.
Power Focus Sessions: If you have kiddies around and finding it hard to find time then ask your partner to take over, set up activities or devices and knock out 2 hours focus time (no phones, distractions etc)
