How it Works
This bespoke Squarespace website service is designed to include all the strategy and design of our custom web projects but delivered in a refined way. It is suited to small to medium businesses across both service based and e-commerce. After an initial consult I will map out your sitemap and provide you with a framework for you to easily add copy.

There will be variations of this depending on your needs but as an example this is typically what’s included in most 3 day websites:
Design & development 24 hours (typically up to 7 pages) - spread out over a 4 day period
Optimized for web and mobile
Foundational SEO (initial keyword research), Meta titles and descriptions, image SEO and Google Analytics setup
Copy framework - a guide to how to structure each page
Sourcing stock images as required
Adding a blog page and/or shop page with 3 products pre-loaded
Post video on how to edit/update the website
45 min consultation

4 hour prep - planning design, sourcing fonts, colours, backend setup

4 days - most service based businesses or small retail brands fit into 4 days. Typically up to 6 pages
5 days - when brands require a little more time, need extra branding support (colours, typography etc) or additional pages.
10 days - for robust sites including e-commerce, larger service based business or those needing additional strategy and SEO requirements.
**Note that we do customise these to be the exact fit that’s right for your business e.g you may require 6 days and we adjust scope and investment accordingly.

Squarespace Website Intensive process.
● Locking in your project
Streamlined process
Your project will be locked in after the deposit invoice is paid and contract signed. I will also set up your consult call and send through your questionnaire. This process is streamlined and designed to take the stress off.
● 3 Weeks Prior
CONSULT + Copy framework
Roughly 3 weeks prior to your start date we will have a 45 min consult where I will run through your project details, the sitemap, questions and form a concrete plan. If you are working with a copywriter I will provide the sitemap but if you’re not then I’ll provide a more in-depth framework with copy prompts for each section on every page.
● Day Prior
Prep Day
The day prior to your scheduled session I will jump in and sort your template, colours, images, page layout and fine tune the creative direction so I can hit the ground running on the first day.
● day 1
homepage
Day 1 is typically just the homepage and potentially 1 other page designed. Day 1 is slower whilst I build section designs and align the overall strategy and creative direction.
You will receive an email late afternoon with the design so far to provide feedback and any edits.
● day 2-3
bulk of the development
After any edits have been made in the morning I will proceed to build out the remainder of the website. You will see pages go live as I finalise and I’ll send an email in the afternoon for any further edits.
● Day 4
seo, mobile & handover
I’ll make any final changes based on feedback in the morning and then proceed to finalise the mobile coding and SEO.
I’ll then transfer the domain across and prepare all the handover video and notes.

In 99% of cases we will complete your website design and development within the allocated timeframe. In instances where we where not able to complete you will be given a ‘how to’ video to finish yourself or alternatively you can book additional time.

Absolutely! We understand the pulls of businesses and so our standard payment schedule for intensives is 50% deposit to secure spot and 50% due 2 weeks prior to your start date. Alternatively we can extend payment plan options if required.

We work with Squarespace as it’s approachable, flexible and easily updated and managed by clients. I want our clients to feel confident in navigating and updating their website so we include a video tutorial on how to easily update.

This service is really popular so it’s usually between 1-4 months in advance - please enquire to see current availability.
